The closest parking lots are in Espoo: Tornimäentie 10 and Kalajärvi fitness track along Vihdintie. Kurkijärvi Maja is located in the middle of Kalajärvi, Korpilammi and Vantaa's Vestra and Petiko, and the Petikko-Serena outdoor trail, Reitti 2000 cycling trail and, in winter, cross-country skiing trails from Petiko, Serena and Kalajärvi maintained by the sports and outdoor activities of the cities of Espoo and Vantaa pass through the forest farm. Distances from Petiko 7 km, Keimola 7.5 km, Kalajärvi 2 km, Serena 800 m and from the Vestra bus 443 terminus to the forest path to the south about 1 km. Kurkijärvi Maja is a private family's forest farm and a private area and a private courtyard. Kurkijärvi Maja is privately owned and Niina Ihalainen owns the architect's designed hut, log cabin, yard and surrounding forest. On open days for the public, welcome signs for guests of the lodge and to the grounds along the paths running through the grounds of the lodge. We kindly ask you to note that the lodge does not have a telephone service or office staff during the ski season, and the piste-side services and the piste cafe planned in cooperation with the cities will come to the outdoor area and outdoor terraces in the first phase of 2022 (norm. Sat 11am-5pm and Sun 11am-4pm). Laturetitsöt and a street cafe on the grounds of the lodge have been implemented in cooperation with the sports and outdoor activities of the cities of Vantaa and Espoo, as well as local operators. You are welcome to visit the lodge at private events and on the lodge's open days, either skiing to the ski cafe or going out, and also with the whole family and even for a cup of coffee while out with the dog.
